The Media Technician II position supports the Museum's technology rich multimedia spaces including the Wattis Theater, White Box, Schwab Hall, Koret Education Center, the Pavilion, and Haas Atrium, and technical production activities in support of event, film, and interpretive gallery programming. The Media Technician II provides support to Senior Media Technician III and Media Services Manager, acts as lead on special projects, during designated special events, or for other Museum programming.

All Media Services technical positions are responsible for operational duties such as the physical installation and configuration of audio visual equipment, audio and video mixing, general production and post-production activities, and repair and preventative maintenance for equipment. The position works alongside Operations technical staff to address shared operational tasks and respond to general building issues requiring coordination between multiple areas. The position may support the Museum's offsite locations.

This position requires the ability to work flexible hours including late nights and overtime to support Museum special events and rental events.

Schedule: Full-Time, 35 hours/week      Pay Rate: $26.69/hour (starting); $31.94/hour (position)
