Enterprise Events oversees all SFMOMA events, including fundraising, donor and rental events. The three different verticals in Enterprise Events cover a wide range of activities:

  • The Fundraising team oversees and executes signature SFMOMA events including Art Bash, the FOG gala and the Contemporary Vision Award.
  • Donor Events support stewardship activity through events for donors, members and other key SFMOMA stakeholders. These events include Member Lounges and exhibition openings.
  • Rental Events manage the museum's rental program, which allows external groups to host events at SFMOMA. Events include corporate receptions, weddings, etc.

As a department, Enterprise Events leverages and combines event resources to create a streamlined production process and execute a singular SFMOMA experience for guests.

The Enterprise Events Intern assists all three verticals in strategy, preparation and execution of events during summer 2020. The intern will gain real-world experience in event management, along with an understanding of events as an important tool building a community of support.

This internship requires the ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
