You will be responsible for leading, designing, and executing exceptional business standards concerning visitor experience, operations, talent development, and financial performance. We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual with a strong sense of branding and consumer engagement, eager to bring their fresh perspective to SFMOMA. The Head of Visitor Relations is the hospitality driver, visitor and buyer retention owner, and source of inspiration for the team.

The Head of Visitor Relations is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our partners, vendors, and key stakeholders, ensuring a consistent, high level of service excellence based on established Museum standards and visitor expectations.

This critical role provides strategic and operational leadership for all museum activities involved in planning, developing, operating, and maintaining a hospitality-driven guest experience, while improving revenue-generating capacity, increasing productivity, and providing a safe and efficient working environment. This position develops strategic museum goals, transforms them into tactical plans, and provides leadership to ensure they are attained.
